Enjoy a summer holiday with exceptional mountain adventures.
Either hiking, mountaineering or on one of the numerous mountain bike tours; paragliding, rafting, canyoning on the 'Gerlos'; with a leisurely walk or Nordic walking on challenging trails.
There are also interesting themed walks and presentations. A free 'Wanderbus' for hikers stops directly by the Hotel.
Gerlos is situated at an altitude of 1,300 metres, which gives it a very special atmosphere. From our hotel you can reach the wonderful mountains conveniently by cable car. A 30-minute walk from Landhaus Haberl will take you to the Durlassboden Reservoir (5-minute drive). There are also numerous possibilities for walking in the five tributary valleys around Gerlos: Krummbachtal, Schönachtal, Wimmertal, Schwarzachtal and Wildgerlostal.
Climbing one of the high-rope courses in Zillertal promises plenty of thrills. You can also enjoy our free "AktivWellness" programme.
And for kids and teenagers we also have an attractive children's adventure programme: this includes bathing, sailing or pedalos at Durlassboden Reservoir. Even anglers will love it there. You can improve your tennis & squash playing skills too. And Western style riding at the Kröller Holiday Ranch promises freedom and adventure close to nature. The nearest open-air swimming pool is located in Zell am Ziller (approx. 17km)
